Este taller busca hacer una recapitulación del presente estado del conocimiento científico acerca de los potenciales impactos a la salud que los organismos genéticamente modificados pueden generar. Haremos un resumen acerca del estado del arte y de lo que se tiene conocimiento así como de lo que no. También observaremos los actuales procedimientos sobre la valoración del riesgo para la aprobación de los OGM’s en instituciones clave así como a las discusiones y presiones dentro de la comunidad científica.
